Your wedding night is yours, so use it as you will
Your wedding night is an intensely personal experience, and it
is absolutely unfair to subject yourself or your new spouse to the
expectations of other people. What often happens on the wedding
night is that the bride or the groom are so exhausted from their
long day that they want nothing more than a little sleep to occur,
but the pressure of everyone else on them can cause them to think
they are less than perfect if they do not have sex on their big
night. The wedding night is personal, and it is completely up to
you whether or not you have sex!
Why should your night be subject to the wishes of other people?
Do you ask other people if you should have sex other days? Absolutely
not! So why should your wedding night be any different? If you and
your spouse decide that all of the wedding stuff has just ran you
into the ground, take the opportunity given you on your wedding
night and just relax. Take a breather. Use your wedding night as
a mental vacation.
Your wedding night is one night in a lifetime of nights. And on
top of that, the night is typically right before the vacation and
fun of a honeymoon, so there is no reason you should not use your
wedding night for some rest. After all of that wedding stuff, you
both deserve it. And besides, your honeymoon will give you plenty
of chances to make up for a long night of cuddling on your wedding
night.
