The wedding march is a foray into tradition and celebration
The wedding march is, for tradition’s sake almost impossible not
to use in a wedding. While some people do stray from the wedding
march and use very different tunes – rock, metal, and even circus
music – for the most part the march has lived on in nearly every
wedding around the world as the central theme of any wedding plans.
In fact, when you are first trying to figure out how to plan a wedding,
the march is the easiest way to take the first step! Just plug it
in to your ceremony music and you are ready to roll.
The march has a certain meaning to it. People identify with the
wedding march. They know how to react to the it. When they are running
through wedding plans in their minds, they know that the march is
the point at which they need to rise from their seats and take in
the beautiful bride coming down the aisle.
The march may not be musically perfect or everyone’s favorite song,
but there is a reason the march has endured in wedding plans for
so many decades. The wedding march speaks to people in a way that
no other song in a wedding does. Whether or not you decide to use
the march as you are figuring out how to plan a wedding, you have
to be aware of the power the march yields.
