A wedding invitation kit is the standard invite package
Your wedding invitation kit will likely contain two or three
standard elements. It does not really matter whether you get your
wedding invitation kit from a professional stationery store or supplier
or decide to make your own invitations, your invitation kit has
several specific components that won’t change between different
versions. These are the basic pieces of a wedding invitation, and
including them in a kit makes it easier for you to get that polished
look even if you do make your own invitations.
First, your kit will contain the invitation itself. Common sense,
huh? The invitation is the central aspect of the kit, but you need
to know how to package it to mail in the envelope. You may have
a small slip of tissue paper in your invitation kit. This is placed
in front of the invitation to prevent the type from being rubbed
off or otherwise damaged. On top of that, your invitation kit should
have two envelopes, one that is slightly smaller than the other.
Look in your kit for those two envelopes, then slip the invite
and the tissue paper into the smaller of the two. Now locate the
RSVP card and any other inserts in your kit and set them on top
of the invite envelope. Neatly arrange all of them, then slide them
into the larger envelope in your invitation kit – of course, this
envelope should be pre-addressed so you don’t have to write on your
enclosed invitation. See, no sweat to any wedding kit.
