Wedding hairstyles are a crucial element of planning
Wedding hairstyles definitely get a lot of press, don’t they? And
not just in bridal magazines! Flip open the pages of any of the
celebrity mags or newspapers and you are certain to see more than
one shot of a famous person’s wedding day hair, whether to point
out how gorgeous it was or absolutely horrible it looked. Thank
goodness you will likely never have to go through that same thing,
but you still have to pay pretty close attention to your wedding
hairstyle, no matter how small of a ceremony you plan on having.
Hairstyles can truly make or break your look and the look of your
bridal party just by looking a little unkempt. If you have the most
beautiful dress possible, how will it look for your hair to have
flyaways all over the place? Or a hairstyle that makes your face
look much chubbier than it really is? You will be so angry when
you get the pictures back! By just spending a little time researching
wedding hairstyles, you can avoid that.
Hairstyles should, first of all, be in line with the tone and style
of the wedding. If you’re having a very laid back celebration, then
your hair should not be in a formal updo with tons of tendrils coming
down everywhere. Likewise, if your celebration is very formal, your
hair should not be in a ponytail (no matter how formal your stylist
says it looks) or hanging straight with virtually no life to it.
These rules also go for your wedding party. Try to make sure your
hairstyle is well in line with your wedding, and you should be fine.
