Wedding décor doesn’t need to be the frothy vision of white
we’ve all come to expect
Wedding décor can be a pretty standard affair. Oh, come
on, admit it – when is the last time you saw wedding décor
that really broke the mold of the standard approach to décor?
Come on, you know. Those pew bows, flowers on the altar, perhaps
flowers on the pews, then some flowers at the reception; it’s really
pretty standard from décor to décor. Who said you
had to have the exact same experience with wedding décor
your cousin had?
Décor should vary from person to person. How well would
it work to have the same wedding colors for each wedding? Not very
well. The same should be true of décor and wedding decorating
ideas. What you love in terms of wedding décor for your April
affair should not match what your sister or cousin chooses for her
November décor, and each of you should have the chance to
voice your own preferences and wedding decorating ideas.
Break that décor mold! Who says you have to have pew bows
in your décor scheme? Who says you can’t use décor
to put flowers scattered all over every table? Who says your décor
can’t just be thousands of rose petals carpeting a dance floor?
Okay, maybe your décor should be a little more practical
than that, but you get the idea. Your wedding décor should
be all about you.
