Wedding chapels are hope in physical form
Wedding chapels took center stage in my mind starting at about
the age of six. I knew I wanted a white wedding, I knew I wanted
to see those wedding chapels in the distance and know I was going
to be married that day. As I grew, my daydreams about wedding chapels
continued, and I became more and more enchanted with the idea of
chapels. I loved to stop in front of chapels and watch the new couples
emerge, happy, smiling, and in a cascade of rice.
Those chapels continued to be a part of my life. One day, I had
the chance to be in the chapels myself, to live out my dream of
seeing the chapels in the distance and know I would be married by
the end of that day. I would have my white wedding in the wedding
chapels, I would be the happy, smiling bride running out of the
chapels in a shower of rice or bubbles.
But the chapels became an even bigger part of my life. Now I no
longer just stop by them and watch the happy couples, I’m at the
chapels capturing those couples for posterity. Those chapels inspired
me to become a wedding photographer, and now every day is my personal
little girl day dream with the chapels taking center stage.
